How can I stand out from other applicants?

Submit a complete application and include references who are willing to talk to me, I do look at them!
Then reach out to me directly via email letting me know you applied.
This is the best way to fast-track your application to the top of the list.
Does my experience need to line up with what is in the job description?
Lauren’s answer:
If your experience isn’t a perfect match for the job requirements, don’t worry. We are looking for talented people from a variety of backgrounds.
But, please come prepared to talk about how your unique experience can make an impact in the role you are applying for.
What does the selection process look like?
Lauren’s answer:
The selection process will vary based on the position you are applying for but here is what to expect:
The process will start with an introductory call with me. You will also meet your hiring manager and potentially some of your future team members.
We know it can be hard to get everyone in the same room, so plan for at least three stages during the selection process.
What do I need to know before I show up for an interview?
Lauren’s answer:
Show up to your interview ready for discussion — this could include a printed version of your resume, something to take notes with and any questions you may have for us.
Just as much as we are interviewing you, you are interviewing us. We want to ensure a mutual fit. Don’t be afraid to be yourself and ask hard-hitting questions.
Should I apply to multiple positions?
Lauren’s answer:
You can apply to multiple positions. However, if you are interested in joining Team Apex, but aren’t sure where your talents would make the most impact, feel free to submit a General Application.
What are some application red flags?
Lauren’s answer:
The biggest red flag that comes to mind is an application that was clearly generated by AI or a mass application tool. We want to get to know you, not a language model.
I am looking for applicants who have an understanding of the role they are applying for and why they are the best fit for it. Don’t be afraid to show off your personality, your skills and the experiences that make you unique. Bonus points for a cover letter.
