School is out (and E-Learning is done) and if you are a parent, you’re probably searching for ways to keep your kids entertained and engaged. With our new normal, you already know keeping them off electronic devices, keeping them from getting bored, and not spending a lot of money is hard to do! Here are a few ideas you can offer to your kids or do as a family:
- Go on daily/nightly walks or bike rides together
- Have them earn rewards for doing extra chores like vacuuming, cleaning out their room or closet, organizing different spaces around the house, or doing yard work
- Creating a schedule for iPad/phone usage and sticking to it
- Create weekly meal menus and have them plan, grocery shop, and help cook the food—start with the recipe below
- Check out resources other parents are talking about on social media, there are a lot of creative ideas being shared these days
This is the time of year to get outside and enjoy the weather!
