Though the holidays may be over for some, for others – the festivities may just be getting started. Below are some quick tips on still getting your physical activity in when time for the gym is out of the question this busy season.

  • Stand when you’re talking on the phone.
  • Do toe raises while doing dishes.
  • Do a few squats or lunges every time you go to the fridge.
  • Turn the music on when making dinner and make a few holiday dance moves.
  • When watching a holiday movie or when your show skips to a commercial, find a time to get up and be active (ex: 5 jumping jacks if the word “holiday” is mentioned or take a lap around your home during a commercial).
  • Spend five minutes before bed stretching.
