As a Senior Account Executive, Sherry provides outstanding customer service, effective process management and consultative analysis working in collaboration with a client advisor to deliver customized solutions on employer health and welfare programs. She serves as the primary technical and operational liaison between Apex Benefits and clients.

Sherry consults with account representatives, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners and service teams on all aspects of benefit programs, alternate funding options and vendor services to meet customers strategic financial and benefit coverage goals. She combines relationship building and communication skills to work collaboratively with Apex’s internal team, external partners and clients to deliver exceptional customer service

Sherry establishes and maintains effective client relationships and continually look for ways to add value by assisting with the development of her client’s short and long-range planning strategies and goals. This includes monitoring her client’s goals from inception through renewal via execution of the Apex Benefits Service Cycle, managing communication, product placement and carrier relations through the renewal process. She works with chosen vendors setting up client programs timely and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is complete and accurate.

Prior to joining Apex in 2009, Sherry began her career in Chicago where she worked at a major brokerage firm. She is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and is a member of National Association of Health Underwriter (NAHU).
