As a team of benefits strategists, we work hard every day to make sure we’re exceeding client expectations and providing the most innovative and value-generating plan designs and advisory services.
As VP of Kinetiq Health at Apex Benefits, Sarah and her team help members find cost-effective health care solutions to drive down employer costs. Sarah’s passion as a benefits strategist includes the use of data and predictive modeling as a means of lowering member risk. The insights Sarah provides when reviewing clinical and pharmacy claims and financial data often goes beyond the insurance implications, down to the individual member level.
Sarah initially joined Apex to help with the creation of our population health and wellness team. Soon after, she accepted additional responsibilities in the market analysis team. Based upon her impact, she was promoted to lead Apex’s actuarial services, and financial and data analysis teams. Key responsibilities include managing client deliverables pertaining to benefit structure, financials, wellness and business strategy. She also creates content to help educate clients and their employees and supports the sales process.
Sarah has over nine years of health care experience, in both the clinical and business settings. Her background as a Registered Nurse, currently working PRN at Riley Hospital for Children, brings forth a unique perspective in health care trends and chronic condition management. She also was instrumental in starting the adolescent inpatient behavior health unit at Riley.
Something unique about Sarah is that her work at Riley has motivated her to do more for children in need. Sarah currently resides in Noblesville, where she opens her home to foster children in the surrounding communities. To date, Sarah has had over 25 children in her home, many of which include teens and their infants.
