Raquel serves Apex clients as an Account Executive. She has over 20 years of experience in human resources and the benefits industry, previously serving as a benefits analyst and as a benefits liaison.
Raquel has extensive experience in the implementation of employer health and welfare benefit programs. Specifically, she has notable experience and expertise in self-funding and balance billing. She has a deep understanding of disability design and regulations and laws pertaining to COBRA, FMLA, ERISA, HIPPA, ACA.
Raquel completed her undergraduate degree in organizational management and marketing and her master’s degree in hospital administration. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her children, and visiting the beach in upper Michigan.
