Megan received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University and has over 14 years of pharmacy expertise. She is responsible for coordinating pharmacy benefit consulting and providing any pharmacy and medication-related support to Apex clients. In additional to leading Apex’s Pharmacy Benefit Practice, she is VP of Clinical Strategy for Innovative Rx Strategies.
Megan previously spent 10 years at Community Health Network as a pharmacist and leader. Most recently she supported a team of 40, providing clinical services to patients and developing the population health strategy for Medicare Advantage plans as director of the ambulatory care pharmacy. She also supported the network through a pharmacy benefit plan redesign and vendor change – and experienced firsthand the positive impact of reviewing pharmacy benefits.
She received the 2023 ASHP Distinguished Service Award, Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners. She also was recognized as the 2019 Excellence in Innovation Pharmacy Award winner for Indiana and 2021 Indiana Health System Pharmacist of the year.
Megan grew up in Chicago and attended Purdue University. She currently lives in Carmel with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time outside with her family and can be found attending her kids’ activities on most evenings and weekends.
