Mark is in his 10th year as a Senior Advisor at Apex. He is a member of the Pharmacy Benefits Consulting Practice and is also a principal at Apex. He collaborates with his customers through strategic one-on-one consultation to design short- and long-term objectives to facilitate strategic plans for their organization’s employee health and wellness benefits programs. Mark brings a broad background of business experience to the equation as he helps those responsible for Employee Benefits create a culture of health and cost savings.
Mark has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, having worked previously for Marsh Supermarkets as superintendent of distribution. There he was responsible for all aspects of operations including human resources, employee benefits, budgeting, scheduling and contract negotiations. He worked directly with Traffic Carrier and Backhaul Sourcing and Warehousing and Transportation Departments to help coordinate all Logistics operations.
Mark is an active member of the community serving non-profit organizations such as Crestview Center, Muncie Mission and Secret Families of Delaware County. He currently serves as membership chair for Muncie Rotary and vice president of the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce. He also has a passion for youth sports and has contributed to the Indiana Nitro Baseball Club, Indiana Baseball Club, the Broad Ripple Haverford Baseball League, St Pius Baseball Community and Skiles Test Youth Baseball League as a board member, commissioner and coach. He helped create the first Girl’s Softball Program at Skiles Test.
Mark and his wife Lucy are members at Servants of Christ Lutheran Church. They are the proud parents of twins Marcus and Ashlee who are both Juniors at Hanover College. Both are bi-lingual student athletes; Marcus plays baseball and Ashlee plays volleyball.
