Kayla works as a Program Manager supporting employer groups seeking opportunities to turn data into insights and promote healthier outcomes for employees and the bottom line.

Prior to joining Apex, Kayla worked at Hancock Regional Hospital, where she gained valuable experience as both a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) nurse and a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse. In these roles, she was deeply committed to delivering high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient safety, and supporting positive outcomes through careful monitoring, clinical expertise, and compassionate practice.

Kayla holds a degree in Biology from Trine University and a nursing degree from IUPUI. Kayla and her husband Logan have two energetic young children. Outside of work, she enjoys family time and reading (mostly “nonsense books” whenever she can find a quiet moment).
