Katie serves as a Senior Account Executive at Apex. Her expertise lies in aligning solutions with organizational objectives while meeting the varied needs of employees. Working alongside her internal and carrier partners, Katie works diligently to establish multi-year employee benefits strategies for her clients focusing on plan funding, plan design, contribution modeling and employee education.
Prior to joining Apex, Katie worked at a national benefits agency in a player/coach role. With over 20 years of employee benefits experience, Katie has supported clients across various funding levels, from individual insurance to large self-funded accounts. While she has predominantly focused on supporting employers in Indiana, she has also had the opportunity to work with clients across the USA.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Matt, her two adult stepchildren Kayla and Kameron (who live in Dallas), and their 180lb bullmastiff, Bossy. Her interests include cooking, traveling and following TV shows like House of the Dragon, 1923, and Married at First Sight.
