Jean is a Senior Account Executive with Apex Benefits. She excels in navigating the insurance maze and is a master negotiator and problem solver. She has created and delivered multi-year benefit strategic plans that have helped her clients achieve their desired goals. Her expertise includes managing large self-funded employer medical/pharmacy plans, stop loss placement and captive solutions, detailed contract/policy review, PBM RFPs and claim repricing analyses, legislative compliance adherence and concise employee communications. She is passionate about providing superior customer service to the clients she serves.

Prior to joining Apex Benefits, Jean spent 21 years as an SVP/Sr. Benefits Consultant for a regional benefit brokerage. Prior to that she spent 7 years as a VP/account executive for a large national brokerage firm. During her 28-year tenure she has served employers with 2 – 40,000 employees locally and across the US.

She is a member of NABIP (National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals) and is currently pursuing the CEBS designation through IFEBP/Wharton School of Business

Outside of work, Jean enjoys spending time with her family, playing the game of Life with her grandchildren (who cheat sometimes), traveling (especially to warm places), cooking (the more difficult the recipe the better) and finding every opportunity to celebrate life with family and friends.
