As a Population Health Program Manager, Janine works on-site as a wellness program coordinator. She designs targeted programs for clients by building relationships, focusing on areas of need through data analysis and implementing wellness programming to achieve healthier lifestyles attainable by all. These wellness programs include individual health coaching, group education classes for chronic disease management, community engagement initiatives, group fitness, yoga classes and virtual programming. Through her on-site presence, Janine fosters trusted relationships with individuals while improving overall population health and contributing to a happier, healthier, more productive workplace.

Prior to joining Apex, Janine worked as a registered nurse in a Community Health Network psychiatric facility caring for patients across the lifespan, primarily on the pediatric unit. Janine decided to pursue a passion for yoga education to share this healing force with all populations and as a focused complementary therapy for those who suffer from mental health disorders. She has a passion for serving special populations and has been trained in trauma-sensitive yoga working with veterans who suffer from PTSD as well as holding a certification in chair yoga instruction. Janine has experience in research – assisting with cancer prevention studies at the IUPUI School of Nursing where she utilized data analysis to direct targeted health education for the community.

Janine is a graduate of Purdue University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, English and interior design before returning to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. In her free time, Janine enjoys reading, playing music, practicing yoga and Pilates, leading a girl scout troop, skiing, traveling anywhere that mountains are involved and spending time with her husband, Dan and their daughter, Christena.
