INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 12, 2018) – Apex Benefits announced today the appointment of Stan Jackson as Chief Innovation Officer, effective immediately.
In this newly created role, Jackson will be responsible for leading the development of products, services and capabilities necessary for Apex to continue growing its long-term innovation strategy. He will focus on new product offerings, applications for big data, predictive analytics and AI in health benefits, and other areas to best serve our current and future clients. He will continue to serve on the Apex leadership team.

Jackson has an extensive background in data management, underwriting and financial analysis. For 30+ years, he has worked in the health insurance industry and in leadership roles throughout several organizations, including Anthem, MPlan, Advantage Health Solutions and IU Health Plans. Jackson graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and passed his CPA exam.
During his two years at Apex Benefits, Jackson served as Vice President, Population Health and Analytics and has been instrumental in developing the ApexAnalytics program while also growing the Population Health & Wellness program into a market-leading capability. Before joining Apex, Jackson served as VP of Data Management & Underwriting for SIHO overseeing Account Management of the IU Health Plan’s groups.
