Perfect 10! Apex Named Best Place to Work Tenth Year in a Row

Apex is proud to announce that — for the tenth year in a row — it has been named a “Best Place to Work” in Indiana. This is the 15th year for the annual program created by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

“I recognize and appreciate the tremendous amount of dedication each employee demonstrates every day in serving our customers and one another,” says Chief Operating Officer Jim Harenberg. “The leadership team is truly grateful that, through this annual survey, our employees have confirmed that Apex is indeed a great place to work.”

Apex is considered a Hall of Fame company as it has been named a Best Place to Work in Indiana at least nine of the program’s 15 years.

The Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Indiana, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings of 125 finalist companies in four categories.

To determine the Best Places to Work in Indiana, companies from across the state entered a two-part survey process. The first aspect consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience and accounted for some 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.

Specific company rankings will be unveiled April 30 at an awards dinner at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College.
