It’s that time of year again. Summer break is coming to an end and students are heading back to the classroom.

This summer the Apex Benefits Marketing Team was lucky enough to have two interns. Before they head back to campus this weekend, Hannah Patton and Chris Thoman shared some details about their internship experience.

Q: What was your experience like as an Apex intern?
HP: It was great because we did a variety of projects that all seemed to help the company in some way. The day-to-day tasks were always different. It definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone.

Q: What was your favorite part about interning at Apex?
CT: The people. Everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. No one made me feel like I was out of place.

Q: What was the most beneficial thing you learned during your internship?
HP: I learned how to communicate with other professionals and now better understand the expectations of working for a company. I was also mentored on Creative Suite, so I’ve become more equipped in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
