Physical Activity is an important way you can prevent heart disease – the Nation’s #1 killer. Exercising on a regular basis sounds great – in theory. But when it comes to actually finding the time to do it, things get a little more challenging. If every effort to embark on a new fitness plans ends with new running shoes or exercise equipment that remains unused, it’s time to change your mindset. Physical activity isn’t limited to the gym; it can be as simple as gardening in your backyard, taking a brisk walk for 30 minutes a day or helping a friend move.
