Will be covered under the stop loss policy as any other illness unless plan document is amended. This could impact rates.

Telemedicine, Virtual Care

Will allow costs to apply under stop loss coverage. No prior notification to THMCC is required.

Medication, Early Refills

Will allow costs to apply under stop loss coverage. No prior notification to THMCC is required.

Special Consideration for customers forced to lay people off due to financial strain

Employer determines eligibility. Agreeable to accept any notification of how plan will address and administer updated guidelines. Will also allow retroactive changes to keep those on plan as long as employees are included in the census and applicable stop loss premiums are paid.

Required Documentation to cover COVID-19 mandated benefits

Will accept without need of signed document if pertains to current ‘state of emergency.’ All other changes should be made through standard process of plan amendment.
