The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention late last week expanded recommendations for COVID-19 vaccine booster shots to include all ages 18 years and older, and received a second dose of either Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months ago.
Those who received the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine were already eligible to receive a booster shot.
The CDC also strongly urged people aged 50 and older to get the booster shot as the holiday season approaches.
