Employers Invited to Participate in Indiana-Specific Employee Benefits Benchmarking Survey
The Apex Benefits 2021 Indiana Employee Benefits Benchmarking Survey is now open for submission from Indiana public and private sector organizations. The survey is designed to provide valuable benchmarking data that Indiana employers can use to design attractive and cost-effective benefits programs that promote employee recruitment and retention.
“Through these surveys and our experience serving employers, we increasingly see that the cost of benefits in Indiana just isn’t comparable to any other state,” says Amber Chittenden, vice president of Client Engagement. “In fact, when you compare Indiana’s medical benefits cost trends to national data, the differences can be staggering.”
The final report provides a rare, in-depth look at local trends in employer-sponsored health coverage. The survey captures data regarding all lines of coverage, including medical, pharmacy and ancillary plans, as well as answers to questions regarding strategies around wellness programming, technology, parental leave, open enrollment, COVID-19 impact mitigation and more.
“The report provides insights that just can’t be found anywhere else,” says Apex CEO John Gause. “While looking at national trends is important, Indiana-specific benchmarking is the only way employers can realistically compare their benefit plans to the Indiana companies with whom they’re competing for top talent.”
In exchange for their participation, each company is eligible to receive a custom report which compares their data to the other hundreds of respondents. In this analysis, Apex benefits strategists also include observations and recommendations for improving the competitiveness of the organization’s benefits program.
Respondents receive a copy of the full survey report when available this summer, as well as an invitation to an event where the survey results are revealed for the first time.
