Apex Benefits, Indiana’s largest employer health benefits advisory firm and services provider, was named to the annual Best Places to Work in Insurance program for the fourth straight year by Business Insurance and Best Companies Group.
“The leadership team at Apex strives to continue being one of the best places to work in Indiana and in the country in the insurance industry,” said Stephanie DiBlasio, Apex VP of administration. “We utilize internal feedback throughout the year, which has allowed us to expand our benefits offerings such as Paid Parental Leave, floating holidays a quarterly bonus program and enhancing our training and development programs. We are grateful to see the positive response as we continue to listen to our employee feedback.”
Best Places to Work in Insurance is an annual sponsored content feature presented by the Custom Publishing unit of Business Insurance and Best Companies Group. Agents, brokers, insurance companies and other providers with the highest levels of employee engagement and satisfaction are listed.
The leading employers are identified through a free two-part assessment of each company. The first part is a questionnaire completed by the employer about company policies, practices and demographics. The second part is a confidential employee survey on engagement and satisfaction.
The program divides employers into three categories: small (25-249 employees), medium (250-999 employees) and large (more than 1,000 employees).
“Earning this recognition for a fourth consecutive year is an honor as well as a challenge,” DiBlasio said. “At Apex we preach what’s good enough today won’t be good enough for the future. We take employee feedback seriously and use it to help us with ongoing prioritization of what’s important for our culture and our growing team.”
