Apex Benefits is proud to be partnering with the 500 Festival for this year’s festivities. As a Checkered Flag Member of the 500 Festival Corporate Member Program, Apex is sponsoring the 500 Festival Breakfast at the Brickyard, presented by Midwestern Engineers, Inc. The event will be held May 21 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Plaza Pavilion.
“Apex is excited to be a part of Breakfast at the Brickyard and the 500 Festival Corporate Member Program,” says Apex Benefits President and CEO John F. Gause. “As a member of the Indianapolis community, our organization is looking forward to connecting with other businesses around our great city and supporting the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”
Attendees of this year’s event will experience the honoring of over 70 mayors of Indiana while enjoying a traditional Hoosier Breakfast. Guests of the event will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with Katie Kiel, a former 500 Festival Princess and active personality in the motorsports community.
Event speakers at the event include Indianapolis Motor Speedway executives and 500 Festival leaders. While the keynote speaker for the event has yet to be announced, past speakers include Mario Andretti, Sam Schmidt, Johnny Rutherford, Janet Guthrie, Lyn St. James, and Roger Penske.
Weather permitting, attendees will be able to drive the oval track at IMS prior to the breakfast. Garage tours will be offered before the qualifying session for the 106th Running of the Indianapolis 500 that afternoon.
The 500 Festival has been changing lives since 1957. The non-profit association annually generates more than 50 events and programs for the community and surrounding areas to support college programs, youth health education and fitness programming.
