The Apex Benefits 2021 Indiana Employee Benefits Benchmarking Survey is now open for Indiana’s public and private sector employers to submit responses until March 19. The final benchmarking report, to be delivered to participants this summer, will deliver a rare, in-depth look at statewide trends in employer-sponsored health coverage.
“We’ve conducted benchmarking surveys since 2018 and the data has continued to show that the increasing costs of benefits in Indiana just isn’t comparable to any other state,” said Apex Vice President of Client Engagement Amber Chittenden. “The differences between Indiana’s healthcare costs to the rest of the country are stunning.”
The survey is designed to provide each participant with valuable benchmarking data they can use to contrast the competitiveness of their benefits program to that of hundreds of other Indiana employers. Apex provides each responding company with a custom report they can leverage to build their own attractive and cost-effective benefits programs to promote employee recruitment and retention.
“This report provides data and insight that simply can’t be found anywhere else in the state,” said Apex President & CEO John F. Gause. “While national trends are widely available, the only way employers in the Midwest can realistically compare their benefit plans to their competition is by analyzing local and national-specific benchmarking.”
The final report provides a rare, in-depth look at local trends in employer-sponsored health coverage. The survey captures data regarding all lines of coverage, including medical, pharmacy and ancillary plans, as well as answers to questions regarding strategies around wellness programming, technology, family leave, open enrollment, COVID-19 impact mitigation and more.
In addition to a custom benchmarking report and the full 2021 Indiana Benefits Benchmarking Report, respondents are eligible to redeem thank you gifts in amounts from $25 to $50.
