Rebecca is a dynamic advisor with demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams to customize employee benefit packages, helping clients minimize exposure, manage risk and help recruit and retain unique workforces across various industries. Rebecca partners and collaborates with clients on strategic, tactical and operational management and development of people, performance and culture in an organization. She does this by her proven ability to determine client needs and translate them into comprehensive programs that support the company’s business objectives and strategy.
Before joining Apex Benefits in 2010, Rebecca started her career in Chicago. She worked for Aon Hewitt in the employee benefits consulting practice. Had the opportunity to join Accenture – a global consulting firm with over 180,000 employees headquartered in Chicago. At Accenture, she led the international employee benefits practice for non-US partners. She was recruited by Anthem, a large health insurance carrier headquartered in Indianapolis and moved to Indiana in 2002. Rebecca is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She also earned her designation of Senior Certified Professional from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). Rebecca holds her Life, Accident & Health license.
Rebecca lives on the north side with her husband, four young children and two rescue dogs. She loves running and has completed numerous fun runs, half marathons and ran the Chicago Marathon and Indianapolis Monumental Marathon. She is passionate about live music and attends concerts year-round traveling for favorite artists. She serves on The Main Event Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana raising funds to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. She volunteers in the MOPS ministry and coaches youth soccer.
