John is the President and CEO of Apex Benefits. He launched Apex Benefits in 2003 to provide employers with an option to work with an organization committed exclusively to employee benefits management. Apex Benefits is a strategic partner with our clients and is focused on providing a portfolio of services which include: consulting on customized plan designs, health informatics, compliance, HR general human resources support including compensation, population health, clinic initiatives, benefit communications, and employee engagement.
John started with a national insurance company as a group underwriter. He then accepted a position with a leading national consulting firm working with employers in health plan management strategies. Next, he moved to a large regional property casualty firm and developed their employee benefits department. John attended Scecina Memorial High School and graduated from Saint Joseph’s College, where he earned a degree in both finance and economics.
John lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children. John enjoys swimming, golf, coaching, traveling, working with multiple communities and volunteer organizations, and spending time with his active children.
