The majority of Jean Ann’s clients are groups with 50 or fewer full-time eligible employees. Jean Ann presents the annual renewal information to her clients, along with recommendations and options, when available. She also answers questions related to benefits, serves as a liaison between the client and insurance carrier and assists her clients with managing their insurance enrollments.
Jean Ann began her career in the insurance industry in 1984 where she trained to be a medical claims processor for Prudential. Her various roles on the insurance carrier/TPA side of the business have been paying claims, reviewing other’s claims for processing accuracy, being part of a customer service unit and plan building. Jean Ann moved to the broker side of the business when she was hired by Apex to provide customer service/account management in October 2009.
In her leisure time, Jean Ann loves to spend time with her four adult children and their families. She also enjoys working part-time as a pharmacy technician for Kroger.
